Become a Junior Library Volunteer (JLV) this summer. Applications available starting Monday, April 13. The applications need to be returnd to the Kids' World Desk by Monday May 11.
Poet-tree - During the month of April, Help us celebrate National Poetry Month by helping our Poet-tree blossom. Write a poem on a paper leaf and attach it to the tree. Poems can be your own or a favorite by another author. Leaves available at the Kids' World Desk.
You too can be a Master of Disaster! Join us as we explore the science of disasters such as erupting volcanoes and shipwrecks through hands-on activities. Dress for a mess. Apri 27, from 4:15-5:156 p.m. in the Lindsey Room for ages 7-11. Sign-up is required.
Babies and their caregivers will explore music through movement, song, and instrument play in a small group setting. Saturday May 2 at two different time, 11-11:45 a.m. and 1-1:45 p.m. For ages 0-23 months with caregiver. Sign up is required.
Children will be paired with a certified therapy dog from Rainbow Assisted Therapy, Inc. to practice reading aloud. This promgram is offered Thursday nights June 4, 11 or 18. A child can be registered for one fifteen minute session starting at 7:00, 7:15, 7:30 or 7:45 p.m. Pictures can be taken after 8 o’clock. Registration is required
Create your own mosaic using tile, stones, and other materials. Local artist Chris Zonta will provide the tools necessary to let your imagination go wild! This program is for children ages 9 and up will take place on Tuesday, June 23 from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Registration required

Are you finishing 6th, 7th, or 8th grade? Become a Junior Library Volunteer (JLV) and help run the summer reading program, "Read on the Wild Side!" Interested? Follow these easy steps:

1 Print an application or get one at the Kids' World desk

2 Return it no later than May 11th at 10 p.m.

3 If you're a new JLV, set up your interview time when you return the application
